Billy Moyer Jr. Wins Instant Classic at Crowley’s Ridge Raceway
Set to Invade Eldora Speedway this Weekend

Batesville, Arkansas (09/05/18) – Billy Moyer Jr. won a thriller on Friday night at Crowley’s Ridge Raceway his Nutrien Ag Solutions #21jr Longhorn Race Car/ Pro Power Racing Engines Super Late Model.

The victory was worth $4,000 and marked his fourth win of the 2018 season.

“Man, what a win for our team,” Moyer Jr. said. “Our hauler was having some work done on it, so we went old school and came here with an open trailer tonight. The box score shows that we led the whole way, but I had my hands full with several guys trying to take it away from me throughout the race. The fans saw a great race tonight. I want to thank my team and my sponsors for helping me get here.”

Powering the Nutrien Ag Solutions #21JR Super Late Model entry, Billy Moyer Jr. visited Crowley’s Ridge Raceway (Paragould, Arkansas) on Friday night for the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) sanctioned event.

With 17 cars on hand for the Keg Towing Labor Day Classic 41, Moyer Jr. followed up the fastest time overall in qualifying with a 10-lap heat race victory. Earning the pole position for the feature, Billy fought off multiple advances to lead lead wire-to-wire en route to his fourth win of the season and a $4,000 payday.

Charlie Cole, Kyle Beard, Dane Dacus, and Hunter Rasdon completed the Top-5 finishers in the 41-lap affair.

Billy now turns his attention to this weekend’s 48th annual World 100, where he’ll chase his first Globe trophy. On Thursday and Friday a pair of $10,000-to-win features are on the line at the historic, ½-mile oval. On Saturday evening the ante ups considerably as the field will compete for a $51,000 top prize in the World 100 finale.

For anyone who can’t attend, you can watch every lap live on pay-per-view at www.DirtOnDirt.com or www.EldoraSpeedway.com .
