Rhett Carter Races to $3,000 Triumph at Golden Isles Speedway
$10,000-To-Win at Waycross Up Next
Blackshear, Georgia (10/02/18) – Rhett Carter banked $3,000 and his sixth win of 2018 on Saturday evening in his Continental Tire #44 Swamp Fox Insurance Agency/ XR1 Rocket Chassis / Wildcat Performance Engines Late Model. The victory came in convincing fashion during the Chuck Scott Tribute at Golden Isles Speedway.
“We had an absolute rocket ship the whole night,†Carter said. “We got to the lead early in the feature, and from there we were able to drive away from the field to grab the win. There’s some big money on the line over the course of the next few weeks in my area, and I couldn’t be more excited. We’ll gun for that $10,000 top prize at Waycross this coming weekend.â€
Saturday night saw Rhett Carter return to Golden Isles Speedway (Brunswick, Georgia) for the Chuck Scott Tribute. After qualifying second fastest behind Tyler Clem, Carter earned the outside-front-row starting position for the A-Main.
Building over a 2-second lead by the time he crossed the line, Rhett Carter soared to his sixth win of the season in the 30-lapper. Kyle Vansickle, Tyler Clem, Mark Whitener, and John Baker completed the Top-5 finishers. He claimed a $3,000 payday.

October 5-6 will find Rhett Carter competing at Waycross Motor Speedway in the inaugural Ralph Allen Tribute Race. The weekend will be headlined by a $10,000-to-win Late Model finale.
