Jesse Lowe Collects $2,300 for UCRA Triumph at I-75 Raceway

Crossville, Tennessee (10/22/18) – Jesse Lowe embarked on a triple header of racing competition over the weekend in his Xtreme Pressure Washing #5j Bennett Heating & Cooling Services/ Hampton Backhoe Services/ CVR Race Car Late Model. When the final dust had settled on the weekend he had a pair of Top-5 finishes to go along with a $2,300 triumph.

The victory came on Saturday night during the Larry Kyle Memorial at I-75 Raceway in United Championship Racing Alliance (UCRA) action.

“Man, oh man, what an honor it is to win the Larry Kyle Memorial,” an elated Lowe said. “We definitely had to work for it, but this car was great, and I was able to park it in Victory Lane. “I definitely want to thank JR Weisgarber for the strong motor Chip (Vineyard) at CVR Race Cars for going through this thing for me this week. He made some wholesale changes, and it woke this car up.

“Last, but definitely not least I want to thank my crew, my sponsors, and all of my great fans.”

On Friday evening Jesse Lowe kicked off the tripleheader weekend with a trip to Crossville Speedway (Crossville, Tennessee) for the regular night of racing. Reeling in a podium performance in the feature, Lowe finished second at the checkered flag behind Booger Brooks with Josh Henry, Ruben Mayfield, and Deke Waters rounding out the Top-5.

The following night brought Lowe to I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tennessee) for the United Championship Racing Alliance (UCRA) sanctioned, Larry Kyle Memorial. In a field of 17 cars, Lowe registered fastest time in qualifying by 0.3 of a second. He went on to finish second in his heat race, which positioned him third on the starting grid for the A-Main.

Overtaking Michael Courtney for the lead on lap-22, Jesse distanced himself from the field in the remaining 18 circuits to capture his eighth win of the season and a $2,300 payday. Jason Manley, Andy Ogle, Jimmy Elliott, and Michael Courtney completed the Top-5 finishers in the 40-lap affair.

On Sunday night Lowe stopped at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tennessee) for the track championship night. Posting a Top-5 finish in the A-Main, Jesse notched a fifth-place place finish behind Shanon Buckingham, Rusty Ballenger, Cory Hedge(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word), and Mack McCarter.
