Shane Clanton Conquers Senoia Raceway for Fourth Win of 2018
Zebulon, Georgia (10/22/18) – Shane Clanton raced his Weldbank Energy #25 Super K Express/ Capital Race Cars/ Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model to the $4,000 win on Friday night at Senoia Raceway. The victory marked his fourth of the 2018 campaign and came in Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals Bonus Series (SNBS) Super Late Model action.
“We built this car two weeks ago to try some different things at the end of the year,†Clanton commented. “We got to the lead at the drop of the green on Friday night, and never looked back. We had a good car on Saturday night too, but we got front-end damage early after contact with another car, and after that we were just hanging on. It was definitely a disappointing way to end the weekend.â€
