Jeff Taylor Visits Victory Lane at Batesville Motor Speedway

Cave City, Arkansas (04/30/19) – Jeff Taylor visited Victory Lane for the second-straight week on Friday night. His latest triumph came at Batesville Motor Speedway in his Industrial Electric No. 5 Spur Bar/ Wehrs Machine/ Provence Construction/ Taylor Chassis Modified.
“I’ve got more laps at Batesville than I’ve got anywhere, and that experience paid off on Friday night,†Taylor said. “On Saturday night at West Plains we made up some ground in the feature, but we were just a tick off from where we needed to be. Overall, it wasn’t a bad weekend at all, and I’m looking forward to heading back to both tracks again this coming weekend.â€
On Friday night Jeff Taylor made the short trip to Batesville Motor Speedway (Batesville, Arkansas), where he returned to the driver’s seat of his Taylor Chassis No. 5 IMCA Modified entry. Topping Brandon Smith in the feature, Taylor soared to his second win of the season. He was followed across the finish line by Smith, Brint Hartwick, Joey Gee, and Mikey Bell.
The following night at Legit Speedway Park (West Plains, Missouri), Jeff advanced one spot in his heat to place fourth. Starting the feature in the ninth position, Taylor improved four spots in the 20-lapper to record a fifth-place finish behind Josh Hughes, Carl Murphy, Brint Hartwick, and Daryl Hay.

The upcoming weekend – May 3-4 – will see Taylor taking a swing at both 3/8-mile ovals once again. On Friday night he’ll be at Batesville Motor Speedway, and he’ll return to Legit Speedway park on Saturday evening.
