Cade Dillard Bags $20,101 Victory at Vado Speedway Park
World of Outlaws World Finals Up Next
Robeline, Louisiana (10/28/19) – Mother Nature may have thwarted Cade Dillard’s original weekend plans, but it didn’t stop him from visiting Victory Lane. In fact, the pilot of the Nichols Stores No. 97 MB Customs/ Stoen Racing Engine Modified raced to the $20,101 victory in the 20th annual Rancho Milagro USRA Fall Nationals at New Mexico’s Vado Speedway Park.
“We originally planned to enter the Super Late Model portion of the Fall Classic at Whynot Motorsports Park, but rain forced them to pull the plug early in the week, so we shifted gears and got the Modified ready,†Dillard shared. “We had a great car all weekend at Vado Speedway Park. After the way we performed in our preliminary night on Friday, I knew that we had the car to beat on Sunday, and sure enough we got the job done.
“Sunday was the first anniversary for my wife Shelby and me. It was hard being away from her, but this $20,101 win definitely made it all worth it. I want to thank her, my whole family, my crew, and my sponsors for making this all possible.â€
Taking his S&S Fishing & Rental Inc No. 97 USRA Modified entry into battle, Cade Dillard traveled to Vado Speedway Park (Vado, New Mexico) on Friday evening for the opening round of the 20th annual Rancho Milagro USRA Fall Nationals. With 60 cars registered for action, Dillard improved eight spots in his heat race to place second behind Jimmy Mars. Earning the pole position for the 25-lap preliminary feature, Cade held off a charging Terry Phillips in the final ten laps to pick up his seventh win of the season. Phillips, Jimmy Mars, Dereck Ramirez, and Jason Hughes completed the Top-5 finishres.
With his spot already locked into Sunday night’s finale, Cade was able to sit out Saturday night’s program to prepare for the finale.
Starting on the pole on Sunday evening, Dillard outran sixth-starting Rodney Sanders to capture his eighth win of the season and a $20,101 payday. Sanders, Bobby Pierce, R.C. Whitwell, and Dereck Ramirez rounded out the Top-5 finishers in the 50-lap affair.

Dillard will not be racing this coming weekend as he has a wedding to attend. His next event will come on November 7-9 with the annual World Finals at The Dirt Track at Charlotte with the World of Outlaws (WoO) Morton Buildings Late Model Series. Qualifying for both shows will be contested on Thursday night, while Friday and Saturday night will each see a $12,000-to-win program held.
The events mark the final races of 2019 for the WoO contingent. Cade is currently seventh in the latest WoO standings and is second in the Rookie of the Year battle.
