Lane Seratt and Seratt Racing Focused on Busy End to 2019 Campaign
Already Preparing for Bigger and Better 2020
Dyersburg, Tennessee (11/05/19) – With indoor, racing season soon to become a weekly endeavor in the Karting ranks, Lane Seratt and Seratt Racing are focused on ending their 2019 campaign with a bang. With 49 total wins already to his credit in just his first two years of racing, the seven-year-old racer has enjoyed a great 2019 season behind the wheel of his J&P Machine & Repair #29 CRP Race Products & Engine/ Ultramax Rival Kart.
Most recently, Lane competed in the Burris Southeast Tour finale at Dawgwood Speedway (Chatsworth, Georgia). Entering two divisions, Lane crossed the line in the second position in a photo finish in the Red division, just 0.085 seconds behind the winner, before registering a fifth-place finish in Junior 1.
“Lane has already had a great 2019 season, and we still have some huge indoor events left to enter,†his father, Preston Seratt said. “He’s only seven, but I’m pretty sure he’s already a lot more talented than I’ve ever been in my racing career. He’s done great in the Red division, but what’s really made him a better driver is competing in the Junior 1 class, where he’s much younger than pretty much all of his competitors. We’re definitely excited about the remainder of this year as well as the 2020 season and beyond.â€
Upcoming events for the talented youngster, include the Blues City Nationals in Tunica, Mississippi on November 9, and the Thanksgiving weekend indoor O’Reilly National Indoor Kart Championship in Batesville, Mississippi.
For 2020, Seratt Racing plans to travel to considerably more events across the country. The team plans to enter a majority of the Burris Southeast Tour races as well as multiple, major events in the Carolinas.
“With the progress that Lane has shown to date, we’ve decided that it’s time to advance his program and travel to more challenging events next year,†Preston Seratt said. “He’s got a strong love for racing, and these trips give our family tons of quality time, so it’s a win-win all the way around.â€
Seratt Racing is currently seeking additional sponsorship for the 2020 campaign, and is proud to announce that Todd Hall’s FTS Trucking has come on board as the newest marketing partner. The Missouri-based company joins J&P Machine & Repair, CRP Race Products & Engine, Xtreme Race Graphics and MSR Mafia Website & PR Services as marketing partners on the team’s No. 29 entries.
