Dennis Erb Racing Ready for FALS Frenzy Following Pair of Top Tens in Deep South
(CARPENTERSVILLE, ILLINOIS) Following a nineteenth place showing in a Castrol FloRacing Night in America Series showdown last Wednesday, September 25 at Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana, Dennis Erb, Jr. and his #28 team ventured to the Deep South over the September 27-28 weekend for a pair of $15,000 to win World of Outlaws CASE Construction Late Model Series events. On Friday night at Boothill Speedway in Greenwood, Louisiana, Dennis timed in sixth quickest in Group A during qualifying, placed third in his heat race, and later climbed two spots during the 50-lap headliner on his way to a solid ninth place performance.
The dirt-slinging action then quickly shifted to Rocket Raceway Park in Petty, Texas on Saturday and another $15,000 top prize was up for grabs. Dennis stopped the clock second fastest in Group B during time trials prior to securing a heat race triumph. After drawing the outside of the front row for the 50-lap feature, the Carpentersville, Illinois ace eventually wound up eighth in the final finishing order and still sits ninth in the latest version of the national series point standings exiting the Lone Star State. Full results from each of these three races can be found online by logging onto www.floseries.com and www.woolms.com.
With the World of Outlaws Late Model Series sitting idle this weekend, Dennis Erb Racing will make the short trip to Fairbury Speedway in downtown Fairbury, Illinois on October 4-5. The MARS Championship Series will preside over both events that make up the annual ‘FALS Frenzy’ weekend. A $5,000 winner’s check will be on the line later tonight in the opener, while Saturday’s show boasts a $12,000 first place prize. If you can’t make it to #FALS, tune in and watch every lap LIVE on FloRacing. Additional information can be found online at www.marsracingseries.com.
