Rod Conley Makes Return Trip to Mudlick Valley Raceway Following Podium Effort
(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO) Rod Conley and his #71R team ventured to Mudlick Valley Raceway in Wallingford, Kentucky on Saturday evening, April 19. The track's season opener shelled out a $2,000 payday for the Super Late Models.
Rod earned Fast Time honors during the qualifying session before securing the victory in his heat race. After starting the 20-lap feature from the pole position, Rod was hampered by an incorrect tire choice and slipped back to third at the checkers to trail only victor Adam Stricker and runner-up Nicky Pennington. “Hot Rod” will once again be the lone Conley Motorsports, Inc. driver in competition over the upcoming weekend. The Wheelersburg, Ohio ace will vie for another $2,000 winner’s check on Saturday night, April 26 in a return visit to Mudlick Valley Raceway.
