Conley Motorsports, Inc. Invades Zanesville TONIGHT for Ronnie Moran Memorial

(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO) It was a busy Memorial Day weekend for Conley Motorsports, Inc. (CMI), as they entered a trio of different shows in the states of Michigan and Kentucky. Rod Conley ventured north with the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series to compete at both Butler Motor Speedway in Quincy, Michigan and Crystal Motor Speedway in Crystal, Michigan. In a $5,000 to win program on Saturday at Butler, Rod ran second in his heat race before starting and finishing fifth in the 30-lap main event behind only winner Josh Rice, Rusty Schlenk, Logan Nickerson, and Tyler Erb. At Crystal on Sunday with a $7,500 payday up for grabs, Rod placed fourth in his stacked heat race and fifteenth in the final rundown of the 35-lapper.

On Sunday, May 25 at Mudlick Valley Raceway in Wallingford, Kentucky, R.J. Conley and his #71C team vied for a $5,000 top prize in the 'Spring Fling.' R.J. timed in fourth quickest in Group B during Ultimate Heart of America Series qualifying before securing a heat race victory. The Wheelersburg, Ohio ace had then moved up to the second spot and was battling eventual winner Mike Marlar for the point when R.J. unfortunately got into the wall on lap eleven. He was forced to retire from the 40-lapper in the nineteenth position. Full results from each of these holiday weekend races can be found on the Mudlick Valley Raceway Facebook page and www.imdirt.net.

The two CMI drivers are set to invade Muskingum County Speedway in Zanesville, Ohio later tonight, May 31. The inaugural running of the ‘Ronnie Moran Memorial’ will be held on Saturday evening and both Rod and R.J. Conley will do battle for the $5,000 first place prize money.
