R.J. Conley Bags $2,000 for Mudlick Valley Victory; CMI Invades 201 Speedway Tonight!
(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO) R.J. Conley, of Wheelersburg, Ohio, celebrated in victory lane for the second time in 2025 on Saturday night, July 26 at Mudlick Valley Raceway in Wallingford, Kentucky! Aboard a newly-renovated XR1 Rocket Chassis, R.J. swept the program at the Bluegrass State oval during Jackie Boggs Foundation Kids Night. He laid down the quickest lap in Super Late Model qualifying, won his heat race, and later led all twenty circuits in the main event from the pole position. At the checkers, R.J. had claimed the $2,000 payday for besting runner-up Larry Martin, Jr., Justin Cooper, Adam Stricker, and Kenny Christy! Full results from Mudlick Valley Raceway can be found online at www.mudlickvalleyraceway.godaddysites.com.
“We had a good car Saturday night at Mudlick,” quoted R.J. this week following the win. “I wanted to test it out, as it’s been totally gone through and back to brand new basically. It was fast right out of the box and I was able to get the job done to drive it to victory lane. We’ll probably bring back out the Longhorn on Saturday at 201, but it feels good to have a couple of fast cars in the shop. Thanks to all of our partners and product supporters that help make it all possible!”
Rod Conley, who last competed on July 13, will join his brother R.J. in action later tonight, August 2 at the newly-reopened 201 Speedway in Sitka, Kentucky. The Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series will preside over the $5,000 to win ‘Tim Breeding Memorial’ later this evening. Rod comes into the event third in the latest version of the Iron-Man Series point standings. More information on tonight’s show can be accessed online by clicking on www.imdirt.net.
The respective #71 teams would like to thank the following companies for their support this season: Conley Trucking, Conley River Terminal, Roofing One Incorporated, XR1 Rocket Chassis, Longhorn Chassis, Poske’s Performance Parts, Shain Custom Decals, Draime Racing Engines, Impact Race Gear, Burgess Motorsports Consulting, FOX Shocks, Integra Racing Shocks, Bazell Race Fuels, Beyea Headers, Sunoco Race Fuels, Delph Communications, Stakt Products, AfterBurner Performance, Jones Racing Products, Hoosier Racing Tires, and ML Performance.
