Rod Conley Cashes In for $5,000 Win at 201 Speedway; Ready for Iron-Man Doubleheader!

(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO) Wheelersburg, Ohio ace Rod Conley recorded his first feature win of the 2025 campaign on Saturday night, August 2 at the newly-reopened 201 Speedway in Sitka, Kentucky! Rod stopped the clock second quickest in Group B during Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series qualifying prior to securing a heat race triumph. After rolling off from the outside of the second row in the 30-lap feature event, Rod took advantage of race-long leader Zack Dohm's mechanical problems to lead the final seven circuits. At the checkers, "Hot Rod" celebrated a $5,000 victory in the 'Tim Breeding Memorial' over runner-up Colten Burdette, Zach Milbee, Adam Stricker, and Rusty Schlenk!

R.J. Conley joined his brother at 201 Speedway on Saturday and left the Bluegrass State with a solid top ten showing. R.J. toured the oval eleventh fastest in Group A during time trials and later advanced to finish fourth in his heat race. Following a B-Main victory, R.J. picked off five competitors during the 30-lapper to land in the eighth finishing position. Conley and his #71C team will sit idle from racing action this weekend. More information on the races at both Millstream and Wayne County can be accessed by logging onto www.imdirt.net.
