Dennis Erb Racing Back on World of Outlaws Trail in Kansas Following Jackson 100

(CARPENTERSVILLE, ILLINOIS) The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Chase for the Championship started on September 26-27 with a pair of events at the legendary Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana and the #28 team was in the pit area. Things kicked off last Friday night at the 1/4-mile fairgrounds oval with the $10,000 to win 'C.J. Rayburn Memorial.' Dennis Erb, Jr. narrowly missed out on the 40-lap feature event after finishing sixth in his heat race and fourth in his B-Main.

On Saturday evening in front of a standing-room-only crowd in the Hoosier State, a hefty $50,000 first place prize was up for grabs in the 46th edition of the 'Jackson 100.' Dennis qualified fourth quickest in Group B during time trials before nabbing the fourth and final transfer spot through his loaded heat race. After 100 green flag circuits in the crown jewel headliner, Dennis found himself credited with a sixteenth place performance. Full results from the entire weekend at Brownstown can be accessed online by clicking on www.lucasdirt.com.

The Dennis Erb Racing team will rejoin the World of Outlaws Real American Beer Late Model Series this upcoming weekend in the Sunflower State. Later tonight, October 3, a $12,000 winner’s check will be on the line at Humboldt Speedway in Humboldt, Kansas. On Saturday evening, October 4, the dirt-slinging action will quickly shift to 81 Speedway in Park City, Kansas for a $20,000 to win throwdown. Dennis, who was a previous series winner at 81 Speedway back in 2023, comes into the doubleheader sixth in the latest point standings.
