Joseph Joiner Sweeps Northern Allstars Weekend, Banks $20,000 in Indiana
Hunt the Front Driver Builds Momentum Entering Dirt Late Model Dream
MILTON, Fla. (June 1, 2026) — Joseph Joiner couldn’t have scripted a much better start to his Midwest road trip.
The Milton, Florida, native scored back-to-back Northern Allstars Late Model Series victories over the weekend, capturing the Don Hobbs Classic at Bloomington Speedway and the Hoosier Dirt Classic at Brownstown Speedway.
"I can't believe it," Joiner said after Saturday’s triumph. "Two nights of this ... to come up here and do this (and) get ready for Eldora (Speedway) next week, I never would have thought we could go up here and get both of these and have as good a. weekend as we've had. We ain't tore nothing up. I mean, this is just great. Praise the Lord. I can't believe it."
Joiner’s three-week Midwest swing began Friday at Bloomington Speedway for the Don Hobbs Classic, honoring the late Bloomington Speedway Hall of Famer. After finishing second in his heat race, Joiner lined up fourth for the 40-lap feature. He surged past Tyler Collins for the lead following a lap-19 restart and drove away to secure his first victory of the season and first career Northern Allstars triumph.
On Saturday at Brownstown Speedway for the 43rd annual Hoosier Dirt Classic, Joiner again advanced into the feature with a second-place finish in his heat race. Starting from the third row, he found speed around the bottom of the racetrack and tracked down race leader Trevor Landrum on lap 31. Joiner then held off a hard-charging Jason Jameson in the closing laps to secure his second consecutive $10,000 payday.
Joiner crossed the finish line 0.422 seconds ahead of Jameson, with Adam Stricker completing the podium.

Joiner now turns his attention to the biggest stage in Dirt Late Model racing as Eldora Speedway hosts the Dirt Late Model Dream this week. A FloRacing Night in America event on Wednesday opens four consecutive nights of competition. Joiner is slated to compete in Wednesday’s program before returning for his Dream preliminary night on Friday and Saturday’s finale.
