Dennis Erb Racing Ready for Three-Race Week in Indiana and Missouri
(CARPENTERSVILLE, ILLINOIS) After wet weather spoiled the racing plans of Dennis Erb, Jr. last weekend, his #28 team will return to dirt-slinging action from September 23-26 in a trio of high-profile events in the states of Indiana and Missouri. Up first will be a visit to Lincoln Park Speedway in Putnamville, Indiana later tonight, September 23. From there, Dennis will head to the Show-Me State for the ‘King of the Arch’ weekend at Federated Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Missouri on September 25-26. The World of Outlaws Late Model Series will sanction the doubleheader, which kicks off on Friday night with a $12,000 to win program. Saturday’s finale at the St. Louis-area oval will then boast a hefty $20,000 first place prize. Dennis comes into I-55 ninth in the latest version of the national touring series point standings. The last time Dennis Erb Racing hit the racetrack was during the 56th Annual ‘World 100’ at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio from September 10-12. While Dennis narrowly missed out on transferring into the $100,000 to win crown jewel headliner, he did place nineteenth in his $12,000 to win prelim feature on that Friday evening.
