R.J. Conley Victorious in MDRL Action at Portsmouth to Earn Fourth Win of Season!
(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO) Wheelersburg, Ohio native R.J. Conley found himself celebrating in victory lane for the fourth time in 2011 on Saturday night, July 30 at the nearby Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio! R.J. qualified well, won his heat race, and later led all forty laps of the STARS MDRL Series feature event at PRP. The driver of the American Metal Supply Company / Conley Trucking #71c Rocket Chassis crossed the finish line first to claim the $3,000 top prize over Eddie Carrier, Jr., Josh McGuire, Rod Conley, and Steve Casebolt. "Hot Rod" had a great run in the 40-lapper as well, as he advanced eight positions en route to the fourth place effort.
On Friday evening, July 29, all three Conley Motorsports, Inc. drivers were in attendance at the Southern Ohio Speedway in Wheelersburg, Ohio for a $2,000 to win unsanctioned program. R.J. won his heat race before finishing fourth in the final rundown of the A-Main behind only winner Jackie Boggs, Eddie Carrier, Jr., and Tim Dohm. Delmas ran second in his heat race prior to notching a sixth place performance in the feature event. Rod was right behind his dad, as he drove his #71r entry to a seventh place finish at SOS. The Conley Motorsports, Inc. teams will all return to Dirt Late Model competition over the August 5-6 weekend in the states of Ohio and Kentucky. You can watch Delmas, Rod, and R.J. Conley sling dirt at the following facilities this weekend:
