Kent Robinson Bags First Super Late Model Win with Brownstown Triumph

Bloomington, Indiana (09/20/11) – Kent Robinson achieved another first in his Super Late Model career on Saturday night in his #7r JB's Salvage/Mastersbilt/Jay (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)ens Racing Super Late Model as he claimed his first win in the 7th Annual Hall of Fame Classic at Brownstown Speedway.

Saturday night was a huge night in the young career of Kent Robinson as he claimed his first ever Super Late Model win in the 7th Annual Hall of Fame Classic at Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Indiana). Twenty-eight cars entered the event, and Kent started the night by winning his heat race to earn the outside front row starting spot alongside pole-sitter, Tanner English. As the race went green, Robinson would quickly work his way to the lead, and once there he would never look back on his way to his first career, Super Late Model triumph, which was worth $2,000. The win came over Joe Janowski, Tanner English, Greg Johnson, and Mike Jewell. Full results are available at www.BrownstownSpeedway.com.

Sunday night saw the Prairie Dirt Classic at Fairbury American Legion Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois) delayed by rain for the second time this season. The event will now be held on Sunday, September 25th.

Kent will return to Brownstown Speedway this Friday and Saturday, September 23rd-24th with the 32nd Annual Jackson 100 at Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Indiana). The $20,000-to-win/$1,200-to-start event will be sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) and will get underway with time trials on Friday night. Saturday night will be highlighted by heat races, consolations races, and the 100 lap finale. For more information on the event, please visit www.BrownstownSpeedway.com and www.LucasDirt.com .

On Sunday night the action will shift to Fairbury American Legion Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois) for the rescheduled, $10,000-to-win, Prairie Dirt Classic. For more information, please visit www.FairburySpeedway.com .
