..... I got a disturbing phone call this morning from the "Intimagator". Unfortunate for dirt track fans the Fall Classic and Cotton Pickin 100 will be the farewell races for Chris Wall. Chris has ran a limited schedule over the last few months after dropping off the Lucas Oil tour. Since Eastbay in February, this season became the most disappointing season that Chris has endured in racing. Snake bit,a black cloud over his head, anything that could go wrong did, and all the other statements used to describe 2011 made him realize that he has sacrificed way too much quality time away from his family to chase his personal dream any longer. Of course Chris will miss the tremendous support given to him and his team not only regionally but also nationally from both the series and events that he raced and the outstanding fan support. The "Intimagator" has an impressive 30 MSCCS wins,12 SUPR wins,1 Lucas Oil win along with 2010 ROTY honors and a 7th place points finish,2 Magnolia State 100 wins,1 Fall Classic win, numerous unsanctioned special event wins, and too many top 5 finishes to list....Don't be surprised in the future to see Chris Wall at some race track but it will be supporting Bill Reed and his racing ministries....Chris will be listing asap all his racing equipment for sale on the national media outlets so the wheels are already in motion.
