NELSONVILLE, Ohio – Georgia Boot is proud to announce its sponsorship of both the Clint Bowyer Racing team and the Elite Racing team for their 2012 racing seasons. Between the two series, Georgia Boot will have a presence at 130 races next season and will be the primary sponsor of 52 races.

“We’re very excited to be partnering with Clint Bowyer Racing and Elite Racing for the 2012 season," said Jordan Gottke, marketing manager for Georgia Boot. "Both the Lucas Oil Late Model series and World of Outlaws series have been experiencing an amazing amount of growth over the past few years and we feel that we are on the ground floor of something very special."

The Clint Bowyer Racing team, owned by NASCAR-driver Clint Bowyer, competes in the Lucas Oil Late Model series. The Lucas Oil Late Model series races on dirt tracks across the country and will have 46 sanctioned races in 2012. The series is televised on MavTV, SPEED, Versus and CBS.

"It’s awesome how much support Georgia Boot provides and their commitment to our team and dirt track racing," Bowyer said. "I look forward to success both on and off the track in 2012."

Jonathan Davenport will drive the number 15 Georgia Boot car for the 2012 season. Davenport enters his first season in the Lucas Oil Late Model series and brings a great deal of success and experience to the team, including 16 overall wins last season. Bowyer will get in the driver's seat for select races, including the Prelude to the Dream on June 6, 2012.

The Elite Racing team competes on the World of Outlaws Sprint Car series. The number 14 car will be driven by Jason Meyers, who is an owner of the team. Meyers has been racing for more than 20 years and has recorded more than 50 wins in the series over the past two years. He won back-to-back World of Outlaws championships in 2010 and 2011 and hopes to continue his winning streak in 2012.

“It is a privilege to have the opportunity to fly the Georgia Boot eagle on the number 14 in 2012," Meyers said. "In visiting the Georgia Boot facility, I was delighted to find a group of hardworking individuals who care about their products and their customers in the same way that we do at Elite Racing. We look forward to introducing the Georgia Boot brand to the loyal fans of the World of Outlaws."

The World of Outlaws Sprint Car series will have 84 races in 23 states and inside of 3 Canadian provinces. Georgia Boot will be the primary sponsor of six races: one in Charlotte, NC, two in Burlington, Wash., one in Cottage Grove, Ore., and two in Chico, Calif. The World of Outlaws series is televised on SPEED and continues to grow in popularity each and every season.

"We hope to grow with our teams, as well as with the sport of dirt track racing itself," Gottke said. "We look forward to helping bring home two championships next season!”
