Following an unbelievable 2011 rookie year for the 14-year-old from Fairmont, West Virginia, Ryan captured the Rookie of the Year title at Roaring Knob and Elkins Motor Speedway. He was recognized as the youngest driver to ever win a Fastrak Touring Series Race, finished 14th in the Fastrak Grand Nationals, finished 28th in the Fastrak National weekly points, will be crowned with the inaugural Fastrak Futures Cup Champion title this weekend in Pittsburgh, PA, finished 5th in Fastrak points at Roaring Knob, finished 8th in points at Elkins Speedway in the UMP Modified class and ended the season with a total of 6 feature wins during his 2011 season. Ryan was also recently nominated as Rookie of the Year in Western PA. Wow!! (To say the least...)
Ryan is going to run the full Northeast Fastrak Touring Series in 2012. The Flyin Ryan racing team and High Gear Speed Shop has been very busy prepping for the 2012 campaign. Flyin Ryan will field two Warrior High Gear Crate Late Model cars for the 2012 season. The new and improved Flyin Ryan 12 website will be up and running by March 1, 2012.
