Last weekend Rusty get back on UMP points horse with two wins on consecutive nights in Ohio.
Friday night RSR was back at Attica Raceway Park where he still holds the record for most victories in a late model. He added one more win to the list for everyone else to shoot for.
“ Finally had some luck fall our way. Made some adjustments over the week that we had been missing and the car was dominant all weekend. It feels good to be back on track!â€
Saturday night Rusty returned to his home track Oakshade Raceway. He pulled out a victory on a track with a very rough cushion that he managed to avoid. Besting a field of drivers including Matt Miller, Jon Henry, and up and comer Andrew Reaume, Rusty cruised to victory.
“ Hopefully we can string together some wins in the next few weeks and make a charge towards the top of the UMP points standings.â€
This weekend will see the RSR team head to Mount Pleasant Speedway on Friday while returning to Oakshade Raceway on Saturday. Sundays plans are up in the air right now. When asked about Sunday's ALMS race at Eldora Speedway Rusty had this to say:
“We have our small motor, which I am not worried about making good time around Eldora, but if that thing blows we are in trouble.â€
