B&B Motorsports Readies for Lucas Oil Double-Dip; Fields Car for Freddy Smith!
(RURAL RETREAT, VIRGINIA) Daniel Baggerly, of Rural Retreat, Virginia, entered stop number ten on the 2012 Ultimate Super Late Model Series schedule on Saturday night, June 16 at the 441 Speedway in Dublin, Georgia. Daniel was ultra-fast during the qualifying session, as he timed his #16 Rocket Chassis in second quickest behind only New Track Record holder Casey Roberts.
During the course of the $4,000 to win A-Main, Daniel battled for second during the early stages of the race, but his car was never the same following a red-flag situation. "Bagz" tried his best to hang around the front, but eventually faded to finish ninth in the final rundown at Dublin. Daniel still finds himself second in the latest Ultimate Super Late Model Series point standings following the rare trip to 441 Speedway. Full results can be located online at www.ultimatesupers.com.
With the Ultimate Series taking a rare hiatus over the June 22-23 weekend, the B&B Motorsports team is eyeing a pair of high-profile Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series battles. While Daniel is scheduled to vie for the $10,000 top prize on Saturday night at his hometown Wythe Raceway in Rural Retreat, Virginia, a different driver will be behind the wheel of his Rocket racecar on Friday evening.
Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer and mentor Freddy Smith will pilot a B&B Motorsports entry tomorrow night at the renowned Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, South Carolina. The 14th Annual ‘Grassy Smith Memorial,’ which is held in honor of Freddy’s father, will also boast a $10,000 payday. Additional information on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series double-dip can be viewed by clicking on www.lucasdirt.com.
Daniel would like to thank all of his 2012 sponsors including: En>Compass Solutions, Wythe Raceway, Emory & Henry College, RE Suspension, Albert Race Engines, Rocket Chassis, and J&J Race Cars. Baggerly also wants to thank all of his great product sponsors for their wonderful products including: Winters Performance, Brinn Transmissions, FK Rod Ends, American Racer Tires, Red Line Oil, Performance Friction Brakes, Stealth Carburetors, Delph Communications, Peterson Fluid Products, VP Race Fuels, Big A’s Custom Graphics, and KELCAR Motorsports Media.
