Salt Rock, West Virginia (05/08/14) - Eddie Carrier Jr. and Carl Grover Motorsports are proud to announce that OPTIMA® Batteries has joined the team as a principal sponsor on their #28 Rocket Super Late Model.

Eddie is currently in his second year of competing with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS). He's off to a great start to the year on the tour with several top ten finishes plus a win that came during the annual Winter Nationals at East Bay Raceway Park (Gibsonton, Florida) back in February. Carrier Jr. currently sits fourth in the latest series standings.
"We learned a lot last year on the road with the Lucas Oil tour, and we've been able to apply it this season, which has show in our performances, " says Eddie. "It's not cheap to go up and down the highway competing on a national tour, so support from great companies like OPTIMA® Batteries is a really big deal for us."
