Dennis Erb, Jr. Ready for Lucas Oil Triple Shot in Illinois and Kentucky this Weekend

(CARPENTERSVILLE, ILLINOIS) Dennis Erb, Jr. and his #28 team headed east with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series on April 24-25 to compete in a pair of $10,000 to win point battles in the states of Pennsylvania and Maryland. On Friday night at Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex in Markleysburg, Pennsylvania, Dennis knocked down the twelfth fastest lap in Group A during time trials prior to finishing sixth in his loaded heat race. Following a second place effort in his B-Main, Dennis started the 50-lap headliner from the inside of the tenth row. The Carpentersville, Illinois star then rallied to fight hard for a top ten finish before ultimately winding up eleventh in the final rundown.

Saturday's scheduled stop at the legendary Hagerstown Speedway in Hagerstown, Maryland was then washed out early in the day by inclement weather. Dennis now finds himself tied for tenth in the latest version of the heated LOLMDS point standings. Full results from Roaring Knob can be obtained by pointing your web browser to www.lucasdirt.com.

Next up for Dennis Erb Racing will be a huge Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series triple shot from April 30-May 2 in the states of Illinois and Kentucky. Things will kick off later this evening at the tiny Macon Speedway in Macon, Illinois. The 2nd Annual ‘St. Louis U-Pic-A-Part 100’ boasts a $12,000 top prize tonight in a 100-lap main event. A couple of $10,000 to win programs will then wrap up the tripleheader weekend on Friday night at Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois and on Saturday evening at Paducah International Raceway in Paducah, Kentucky. Additional information concerning the shows at Macon, Granite City, and Paducah can be accessed by clicking on www.lucasdirt.com.
