Jake Griffin Welcomes Racing Air Products; Prepares for Busy Weekend

Quincy, Illinois (05/06/15) – 16-year-old Jake Griffin is proud to welcome Racing Air Products to the team as a marketing partner for the remainder of the 2015 season.

Racing Air Products manufactures and provides field support for the Extreme Tire Management System. This product, which implements a dynamic nitrogen application process, offers improved mileage, longer lasting tire life, and the elimination of tire growth during races.

“It’s an honor to have Eddie Fritz and Racing Air Products joining us for the remainder of this season,” said Griffin. “Their product is truly revolutionary in controlling tire expansion and stagger, which increases racer’s chances of standing in victory lane.”

More information on the company and its great products are available at www.RacingAirProducts.com .

Jake Griffin took part in a doubleheader at Lebanon I-44 Speedway (Lebanon, Missouri) on Saturday evening in Brennon Willard's entry in the O'Reilly Auto Parts NASCAR Pro Late Model division

The first feature was the make-up event from a weekly earlier, which was postponed by rain. As the race went green Jake began working his way through the pack from his tenth starting spot, and by lap 18 he found his way into the second spot. With just a handful of laps remaining Griffin rapidly began cutting into leader, JC Newell's massive advantage. Griffin was able to make a serious charge at the leader on the final lap, but came up just a bit short to finish second.

In the new program Jake won his heat race from the 6th starting spot to earn a good starting spot for the 25 lap feature. Bad luck struck early though as the car in front of Griffin checked up, and he had no choice but to spin. He rejoined the tail of the field and rebounded to a 7th place finish.

Full results from the event are available at www.I44Speedway.net .

The upcoming weekend, May 8th-9th, will find Jake in action on asphalt and dirt. On Saturday evening the team will return to Lebanon I-44 Speedway for another NASCAR Pro Late Model event. Sunday evening will see the team competing on the dirt at Quincy Raceway (Quincy, Illinois). For more information on the events please visit www.I44Speedway.net and www.QuincyRaceways.com .
