Daniel Baggerly Rebounds for Top Ten at County Line; Fayetteville FUEL Stop Ahead
(RURAL RETREAT, VIRGINIA) Daniel Baggerly and his #16 team returned to dirt-slinging competition on Saturday evening, June 11 at County Line Raceway in Elm City, North Carolina. A weekly Late Model show was held over the weekend at CLR and a $1,200 top prize was up for grabs.
Daniel posted the twelfth quickest time in qualifying, which locked him into the outside of the sixth row for the start of the 30-lap main event. "Bagz" quickly vaulted up to sixth in the running order after only seven circuits, but unfortunately suffered a flat right rear tire. After attention from the B&B Motorsports crew, Daniel returned to the track with a new tire and proceeded to drive back up to eighth by the time the checkers fell on the field. The #16 team will be right back at it again this Saturday night, June 18 at Fayetteville Motor Speedway in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The FUEL Racing Series will roll into FMS this weekend to sanction a $3,000 to win special event. Each competitor transferring into the headliner will be guaranteed at least $300 for their efforts. Additional information on the 1/2-mile, semi-banked speedplant can be obtained online at www.fayettevillemotorspeedway.com.
