Daniel Baggerly Rallies Back to Sixth in Fayetteville FUEL Stop
(RURAL RETREAT, VIRGINIA) The B&B Motorsports team invaded Fayetteville Motor Speedway in Fayetteville, North Carolina on Saturday evening, June 18 for a visit by the FUEL Racing Series. Daniel Baggerly did not qualify up to his lofty expectations, but did grab the second transfer spot through his heat race.
After starting the $3,000 to win main event from the inside of the fifth row, Daniel cut down a right front tire early in the race and was forced to restart at the tail end of the field. The Rural Retreat, Virginia native then rallied back through the pack during the remainder of the 40-lapper to salvage a solid sixth place showing behind only race winner Shaun Harrell, Hunter Bailey, Michael Batten, Robbie Emory, and Donald Bradsher. Daniel and his #16 team will now set their sights on County Line Raceway in Elm City, North Carolina this Saturday night, June 25. The I-95 Late Model Challenge Series will roar into CLR and a $3,000 winner’s check will be on the line. In a previous I-95 Series battle at County Line back on April 23, “Bagz†drove his CVR racecar to a steady eighth place performance.
