    Wayne County Speedway Saved

    Press Release

Wayne County Speedway is saved. Joe McIlvaine, a local businessman, purchased WCS from the previous owners as of May 27th, 2011. Luckily WCS did not sell at auction and Mr. McIlvaine and Mr. Coffman were able to come to a sales agreement to save the race track as a speedway. Mr. McIlvaine would like to thank the Coffmans for all their work with the track and announce that Jason Flory has been hired as the new promoter. The opening date is yet to be determined so keep checking for updates at WayneCountySpeedway.com or on the new Wayne County Speedway Face Book page that is currently being built by Kristin Flory. The plan is to have a variety of different divisions racing at WCS when it reopens together with many improvements. Mr. McIlvaine and Mr. Flory want WCS to be a very family fun oriented facility which gives the families the most bang for their bucks. For more information, visit WayneCountySpeedway.com or call Mr. Flory at 330-435-4850 or go on Facebook and search for Wayne County Speedway.
