Tonight on the FK Rod Ends Hotline will be the driver of the #29 Lazer 2- Chassis fresh off of winning the event that was dedicated and put together by Hendren Racing Engines & Family, FASTRAK Racing Series & Cleveland County Speedway the race in his fathers memory the Inagural Bill Hendren Memorial which saw Steve Hendren from Rutherfordton,NC hold off the likes of 45 other Pro Late Model contenders to be the winner of the historic weekend event at the Lawndale,NC 1/2 mile facility which saw a great turnout all across the board!!
The excitement was electric when Steve Hendren won the race this weekend in his fathers memory. However its now gone from a "Slobberknocker" to a "Barnburner" for the 2011 FASTRAK SE/ME Touring Series $10,000 Championship. After the woes #11 "Hollywood" David Smith from Inman,SC sustained with battery & tire issues in the 40 lap A-main Friday night in Lawndale #54 "Flatfoot" Brandon Umberger is putting the pedal to the metal in the homestretch to pull the upset going into the final SE/ME Points event this weekend with the conclusion of the Dirt Late Model SUPERNATIONALS this weekend at Wythe Raceway!! Going into this event this weekend for the $3,000 to win event as the FASTRAK Portion of the SUPERNATIONALS but also the title up for grabs Umberger goes into the event leading #11 of Smith by just one point (Thats right I said 1 point only) This is a race you don't wanna miss and he'll be on to talk about his thoughts and preperation to getting ready for this weekend!!
Chris Knight from City Chevrleot will also be on to discuss how wild & crazy its been this 2011 season in the 2011 City Chevrleot Weekly Racing Division, How it all came about, why its been so successful and his thought about the season in whole for FASTRAK on this 2011 season has the Grand Nationals is lurking ever so closer around the corner. We'll also discuss why its a $50,000 payout to 50 spots nationwide and what made them come to that decision!!
