Remembering , Atomic Motor Speedway , in race video's

When People talked about E Tn racing 2 tracks came to mind Tazewell and Atomic. Though Atomic no longer stands , it is not gone. It lives on in our mind and our hearts. Its been only 6 years since we lost Atomic Motor Speedway. I once stood on top of her tower , filmed some of the greatest races I ever seen. Bloomquist , Hommel , Cook , McDowell , Sexton just to name a few , 2 , 3 and 4 wide at times. It was standing room only on Saturday nights.

Now a new tradition is just over the horizon , a New race track will carry our beloved tracks name , just down the road from where it once stood. New traditions will start , new memory's will be made. It wont be the same , but it will carry the name "Atomic Speedway". Get those cars ready , March is not that far away , who will get the checkers at the 1st race of The New Atomic Speedway.
