I was contacted over the weekend by an organization called National Short Track Racers Alliance that was recently formed. They have created a sanctioning body that puts all divisions together in a championship pursuit that any driver and team can be a part of to go head to head against any drivers anywhere in the country.
Points System: Points will be set up in a way that awards points based on heat and main event finishing positions and car count along with bonuses for clean sweeps and consistency. Championship will be decided by the driver's point average over their top 25 shows, with a minimum of 18(if all at one track or in one series) needed to qualify for any championship purse.
Points Fund: The payout will be for Top 20 in points and will go as follows-
$2,500, $2,200, $2,000, $1,750, $1,500, $1,250, $1,000, $850, $725, $650, $575, $500, $475, $450, $400, $350, $300, $250, $225, $200
Points fund will be increased if enough drivers/sponsors are brought on board
Sanctioning Fees: Cost to join this sanctioning will be $150 per division, with a minimum of $75 to anyone who meets requirements to qualify for the championship purse.
If you have any questions, comments or concerns you may call, text or email me at any of the information provided below. If I do not have the answer to your question I will get back to you with it at earliest convenience.
