FASTRAK Hosts Engine Builder/Tech Director Summit
The FASTRAK Racing Series will host an “engine summit†for all FASTRAK authorized builders and tech directors from the FASTRAK weekly sanctioned tracks on May 4th-5th. “Authorized engine builders are to be there both days with the track technical directors Saturday only. “It’s time we did this again†stated Series Founder Stan Lester. “There are some things we need to address and doing it with everyone together makes our company stronger and more of a solid foundation. Communication is the key to continued success. We have grown to be the largest sanctioning body on dirt with GM crate engines and this is the only way we can continue that trend. Our engine builders will enjoy this as they get to know and learn from other builders across the country. There is nothing like putting a face with a nameâ€.
“I applaud what I am seeing with FASTRAK said SE/ME Director Kelley Carlton. I am beginning to see what has made FASTRAK such a huge success. I can’t remember seeing anything like this being done in other series. Getting the engine builders and technical people from across the country together will only make FASTRAK better as a series, tracks better that are involved and our teams will know we are doing our part to keep things on an equal playing fieldâ€.
The meeting will be held at the Meeting Center in Wytheville VA. Wytheville is a neutral location from the FASTRAK corporate office to the FASTRAK NE Office. Letters have been mailed out to all weekly tracks, engine builders, series technical directors and series Directors.
