FORMER S.A.S CHAMP JAMIE PERRY TAMES BOYD's HIGH-SIDE

FORMER S.A.S CHAMP JAMIE PERRY TAMES BOYD's HIGH-SIDE

Chattanooga/Ringgold (4/22/11) --- Almost a month, to the day, the RINGGOLD KID Jamie Perry (1999 S.A.S Champion) of Ringgold, Georgia tamed the high-side of Boyd's Speedway for his second Steel-Head Late Model victory Friday night. Taking the lead early from local racing veteran Rick Hixson, Perry pocketed the nights $1,000 payday "scraping the fence" using the highest line around the fast clay oval. The black n' blue #P4 "Stealth Racing Carburator, Heatherly Bros Roofing & Construction, Hamilton Outdoor Sports Shop, Anderson Bros., Ringgold Service Center, Outlaw Graphics" sponsored GRT / Chuck Smith (Racetek) racer worked past Hixson after finishing second in his heat. "Rodney (Elliott) and the guys Chance and Shon gave me a great racecar like usual tonight" stated Perry Saturday. "I actually tore the right rear spoiler off in the catch-fence and it freed-up the car even more." concluded the 2-time Cleveland Speedway Track Champion. Billy Fryar owns Perry's car and along with his Georgia Drag Racing future hall of fame father (Cotton Perry) the team seems unstoppable early on. "We're looking at entering some bigger paying races, but right now Boyd's is the best thing going" Behind Perry and Hixson at the finish were; Lamar Scoggins, Madisonville TN's Tony Martin and Riley Hickman.
