    Tuckasee Toilet Bowl Classic Opens 19th Season for MARS Racing Series March 2-3 at Clarksville Speedway

    SOMERSET, KY (February 21, 2018)—The 19th Season of the MARS Racing Series will open on Friday and Saturday March 2 and 3 at Clarksville (Tenn.) Speedway during the 14th Annual Tuckasee Toilet Bowl Classic paying $3,000-to-win on Friday and $5,000-to-win on Saturday.

    Since 2009, the MARS Racing Series has sanctioned this event. 2017 winners included Rodney Sanders of Happy, Texas on Friday and Dennis Erb Jr. of Carpentersville, Ill. on Saturday.

    Along with the MARS/UMP Late Models on Friday, the UMP Open Wheel Modifieds will race for $600-to-win along with the UMP Crate Late Models racing for $600-to-win plus Mod Lites and Mini Mods.

    On Saturday, joining the MARS/UMP Late Models will be the Open Wheel Modifieds racing for $1,500-to-win, plus the UMP Crate Late Models racing for $1,000-to-win and the Pure Street feature pays $300 while racing will also take place in the Mod Lites and Mini Sprints.

    The tire rule for the weekend is Hoosier LM20 and LM40 with grooving and siping allowed. The entry fee is $100 Friday and $150 Saturday. $100 tow money will be paid to any driver not making the field of 24 on Friday and $150 Saturday. The transponder rental is $20.00 per night or $30.00 for the weekend and the Westhold Transponders are used. The MARS Racing Series follows UMP technical rules, which can be found at www.dirtcarump.com . The MARS Racing Series will be taking samples starting with the first event in 2018.
