I was told last year kkk did not pay out the full purse for the NALMS race but the nalms did pay all the drivers there money that is why i think you will not see any nalms events at this track Just hope that ALMS gets there money up front for this event

Not sure why kkk would schedule this race up against the Lucas race in IA. I would expect many drivers and fans to be heading that way.

Let's just stop right there with the rumor crap. KCS has paid and will continue to pay the full payout. Take that garbage somewhere else please.

Better check your dates Zonks. K3 ALMS show is the 20th. The Lucas show at 34 is the 13th. Having said that, a promoter can't really be expected to not scedule against a race 3 1/2 hours away.

Guys lets just be glad the track is open. 14 Late Models last week and it was good show. Opie looked real good in a late model. It's looked like they cut some of the banking out of turn 3 & 4 which I think made the racing pretty darn good for the first night of racing. Yeah car count was low but I think that is due to some guys still getting their cars ready, the economy, and the high gas prices.

youre doing an awsome job tom.

track looked good from front grandstands,1 & 2 lookes like it needs some work,13 cars started feature, dont know how many finished,
it looked like the locals stayed home, most of the lm were from other tracks, opie was tearing them up,

              im opie #1 fan

I see I dixed my mates....I mean mixed my dates!!!

I know promoters have a hard enough job these days. Had this show been the same date as the Lucas show, I think it would have affected car counts....but the good news is it's a non-issue.
