sharky, the last time I looked north florida speedway doesnt have a loan, it's paid for. I choose not to have sponsors, no obligations to anyone. I treat people with respect, fair and honest. the only reason I bought this track was to save a track. nobody remembers the good that people try to do, they just bash. Again I bought this place to save it, as the county shut it down. my place may be a dump, but it's mine. we thought it was time to do something for fl.'s local drivers. the only reason we do this is for the love of it. In 6 years we havn't collected $1.00 from NFS. post after post I repeat support your local track which ever one it is. I'm not here trying to get into a pissing contest nor will I hurt the Powell family by putting on a 10k race the same weekend as another track. It's ok that NFS Turkey Trot has gone on for over the last 20 years, ask Terry Egland he ran it for years. I will do damage control to the Jones fanily this weekend, as the trot is in memory of THE LEGEND AND HALL OF FAME DRIVER HARVEY JONES. Do you want to know what's more important to me then going back and forth with you, my family and my son getting ready to drive his QTR. midget. That's what drives me. high on life.

support your local track which ever one it may be before their gone.
those that support NFS, Liz and I thank you for everything you have done to make YOUR track successful.

sharky99, North Florida Speedway has been around since the 60's. Have you? It is by far one of the best organized in this part of the country. They srart on time, keep the program going and most of the time the program is over by l0:00 or l0:30. It most certainly is NOT a one groove track (if you want to see a one groove track just go to Needmore Speedway). Oh, and speaking of Bubba Speedway Park - they need to get the pieces of concrete (not rocks, but pieces of concrete) off the track. Even sitting on the top row got hit. Hurt like ----! Phil and Liz have put new life into what was a dying facility and they are to be commended for all their efforts. Keep up the good work guys! Will see you tomorrow night.

Sharky99 I can see your easily impressed with Daisy Dukes night and fancy lit water trucks and a semi celebirty type. Sooner or later the track owner will have to show a profit and when it doesnt he will be gone and NFS will still be in business each Saturday Night. Why you would even come on here and make that statement is mind boggling. If thats the way you feel, just keep it to yourself. I go to all the tracks in North Florida and Georgia, NFS has always treated my family well and we go back every chance we get because of that. I have nothing bad to say about Ocala at all, but I'm a betting man and I will bet you that NFS and current owners are still around this time next year. If this track is good enough for the Locomotive and Tyler Ivey, Kevin Durden, Bo Allen, Bedenbaugh Brothers, Van Sickles, its good enough for me. I dont need fancy lights and daisy duke nights to get me to a track, I just need to be treated well and a pit full of racing cars, green, yellow, white and checkered flags and Im good to go. Have a great weekend and enjoy the races wherever you go.
