After a very successful practice Paducah International Raceway is gearing up for the Tri-State Challenge tomorrow night. The race paying $5000 to win the UMP/NALMS feature winner marks the Grand Reopening of the track after being shuttered by record flooding since mid-April. Several drivers were quoted as saying the track is smooth and will be very racey come Friday Night. They said the track management and crew have done an awesome job in getting everything ready to go. Also on the racing card will be the UMP Modifieds ($600 to win), UMP Pro Late Models, UMP Stock Cars, UMP 4 Cylinder Warriors, and the High School Warriors.
Pit gate will open at 3 pm with the grandstand gates opening at 5 pm. Hot Laps will take place at 6:30 with qualifying at 7 and racing starting at 7:30.
Grandstand admission will be $20 for adults with children 12 and under $5. Pit admission will be $30.
