Congrats to Roberts on the win. The track was in good shape and very fast. Roberts just missed breaking the track record with a 13.91. I believe the record is 13.89. Roberts took the lead with a few laps to go powering by Clanton on the low side. McConnell took one heck of a ride flipping multiple times in turns 1 and 2.

The track was in good shape and very fast.

Not sure I can agree with that assessment. Anytime track conditions are directly responsible for sending a driver to the hospital then "good shape" should not be used to describe the track conditions.

I know Mickey cares deeply about the safety of the racers, and he will do everything in his power to make it better and safer.

We as fans just have to realize that "wet" "tacky" and "super fast" do not always equate to "good" track conditions.

I didn't see what started the flip, but I did see the roll cage collapsed down on the head rest. After seeing that, I would have thought that was directly responsible for sending a driver to the hospital.

I am not referrng to the 119.

The incident I am refering to is the SLM #25 that took a dirt clod to the helmet that busted the helmet and knocked him out while full throttle coming off turn 2.

The 119 was only partly due to track conditions.

Ah, I thought you were talking about McConnell's flip. Any word on either of their condition?

Jay has a concussion from the clod of clay. Mcconell broke his neck but is able to walk.
