Southern All Stars Strips Klint Byars of Whynot Win Following Tire Tes

Clinton, TN (6/21/11) Klint Byars of Carrollton, Mississippi has been disqualified by the Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series following his feature win on May 28th, 2011 at Whynot Motorsports Park.
An independent testing lab conducted a multitude of tests of samples taken from Byars' right rear tire. The lab indicated the samples contained compounds that do not match the compounds in the Hoosier factory benchmark samples of the same tire.
Based on the labs findings, Byars' win has been disallowed. There is a review option available to the driver if he chooses to use it. Once this process is complete the official results from the May 28th event will be made available and all monies and points will be distributed accordingly.
