Roaring Knob, Dog Hollow & PPMS Continue Exciting UFo Events July 9-17-23
(Mars, PA) The UFo Race Championship speeds through July with thrilling events at 3 supertracks. “Supernational Road†on Saturday, July 9 will pay $3,000 to win. The “Connor Bobik 100†at Dog Hollow on July 17 will pay $4,000 to win as part of a $7,700 to win weekend at the track. The “F-2 Shockwave†at Pittsburgh’s PA Motor Speedway will pay $4,000 total to win on July 23.
UFo “Supernational Road†at the Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex on Saturday, July 9 will pay $3,000 to win, $300 to start and $150 for Super Late Model non-qualifiers. Roaring Knob has generated excellent top-to-bottom racing action at UFo events and this initial 2011 race is highly anticipated. The track surface has been perfected and racing has been spectacular leading up to UFo “Supernational Road.†This will be the 1st of 3 appearances for UFo at Roaring Knob this year. 2010 UFo winners at Roaring Knob include Jeremy Miller of Littlestown, PA, Jamie Lathroum of Mechanicsville, MD and Jason Covert of Lock Haven, PA.
The FASTRAK Pro-Lates, E-mods, Street, Charger and Roadrunners will also be on the racing card at the mountain oval. Pit gates will open at 4:30, grandstands at 5:00, warm-ups at 6:45 and racing at 7:15 PM at Roaring Knob. Grandstand admission will be $18 with children 10 and under free. All pit tickets will be $30. The rain date for UFo “Supernational Road is Satruday, July 16.
The payoff for the UFo Super Late Models for “Supernational Road†41-lap feature at Roaring Knob will be: 1st-$3,000 2nd-$1,400 3rd-$1,000 4th-$800 5th-$700 6th-$600 7th-$550 8th-$500 9th-$475 10th-$450 11th-$425 12th-$400 13th-$390 14th-$375 15th-$350 16th-$340 17th-$325 18th-$325 19th-$325 20th-$325 21st-$300 22nd-$300 23rd-$300 24th-$300. $150 paid to all cars that DNQ that make 1 lap on the track under their own power. UFo Race Championship events have NO car entry fee and NO driver membership fees.
The UFo Race Championship will soar into the Dog Hollow Speedway on Sunday, July 17 for the “Connor Bobik 100.†The Super Late Models will not only compete for $4,000 on Sunday, but $2,500 to win on Friday, July 15 with $1,700 total bonus being offered to the two highest combined finishers for the weekend. Additionally, promoter Jim Michny has increased the start payoff for the UFo portion of the event.
The UFo “Connor Bobik 100†is a tribute to the son of track photographer Derek Bobik. Connor lost his fight with cancer earlier this year and this event will celebrate his life. A Chinese auction for the Make-a-Wish Foundation will be held as part of the events on Sunday, July 17 at Dog Hollow.
The UFo “Connor Bobik 100†is a full, high-power event. UFo Super Late Models be competing in a $4,000 to win, 45-lap feature event. Due to the strong race team support of UFo events in 2011, the start money for the event has been increased to $400. Non-qualifiers will receive $150.
Joining the UFo Super Late Models on July 17 will be the 1st-ever appearance of the Outlaw 410 Sprints at Dog Hollow. The winged monsters will be racing for $2,500 to win and $200 to start. The FASTRAK Pro-Late Models will compete in a $1,000 to win championship race. 100 total feature laps will be run between the 3 divisions.
Both Super Late Model and FASTRK Pro-Late competitors will be able to earn bonus payoffs if they also compete at Dog Hollow in “Mid-Summer Championships†on Friday, July 15. The Super Late Models will pay $2,500 to win and the FASTRAK Pro-Lates will pay $700 to win that night. Bonus money will be paid to the 2 highest combined finishers between July 15 and 17 for each division. Super Late Model bonus will be $1,200 for 1st and $500 for 2nd. The FASTRAK Pro-Late bonus will be $700 for 1st and $400 for 2nd.
An additional bonus has recently been announced for Super Late Model and FASTRAK Pro-Late teams at Dog Hollow. The Super Late Model feature winners from Friday July 15 and Sunday July 17 will be guaranteed starters in the track’s World of Outlaws $8,000 to win race on Tuesday July 26. The winner of the FASTRAK Pro-Late feature on July 17 will also be a guaranteed starter on July 26.

The FASTRAK Pro-Lates will race for $550, E-mods for $450 and Cadets for $350 with open brand tire rules in the Super Late Models, E-mods and Cadets that night. The Hobby & Young Guns will also be in action.
