First off to address the above statement: I did not win because after getting the shaft I loaded my car.

Now-just to make myself clear, I am not bashing NGS nor am I saying anything bad towards the Ellis family, I think that Keith has done a good job with the track and I am grateful that he went out on a limb to back the track and to give us a place to race.... what I am saying is that I was shafted last night. I feel as though I was wronged last night and anyone else in my position would feel the same way that I do about the situation.

There was a few incidents that mark needs to take care of himself next time. Allan didn't qualify as fast as they said. Instead of saying well he went this that and the other- Mark (track promoter) should have said "let him re-qualify and I'll time him." That would have solved that. Also Brian Jackson was screwed in the limited race. He had the 71 outran the whole race and some how the 71 got 2nd. Mark should have said at that time as track promoter woah caution. And lined the cars
Up correctly if whoever made the call couldn't give a reason as to why b4 got put in 3rd. At this stage I don't think mark and the Ellis family want to make people made and loose more race fans.

Some friends and I were planning on the trip to North Georgia for the big race but we may change our plan because we don't want to get involved in a riot.

PS. BK doesn't like Georgia Tech students anyway, so we probably won't be welcome anyway.

i disagree that the driver should expect the promoter to come to his trailer. Try getting Preacher @ TST or Mickey @ Dixie/Rome to come to your trailer to discuss a issue like this. Both of them would tell you real quick if you dont like the calls, you are welcome to load your car and dont come back. The promoter has a lot more things to worry about during the evening besides one or two drivers. That's what they pay other people to do. In this case Mr Green ( not members of his crew ) should have went to either the person in the pits who is in charge ( IE.. Tech Man or Pit Stewart ) and talked to them about it. As i said in another thread... be glad you have a place to race.

I wasn't at North Georgia Saturday Night,but it sounds like a classic case of miscommunication. I don't know Mr. Wooten ,but i know that track promoters are being pulled in many directions, from the time they get there until the time they leave.so when you have an issue you need to go to the promoter,don't wait for him,because 10 more issues have come up since your deal.It does sound like that Allen Green should have had to qualify again if there was so much uncertainty about his time,but a mistake was made and there is nothing that can change it now. I agree with Mr. Wooten about one thing.This is no place to try to resolve this. If you know each other,meet for lunch ,voice your opinions and move on.There are alot of fans who may look at 4M and reading all of this may make them not want to come to N. GA.If the fans and cars don't come ,there wont be a racetrack.With things the way they are in this country,we need to be thankfull that we have a place to enjoy doing what we love.Weather it's N.GA,Dixie,Rome .or where ever, work together not against each other.We are all humans,(well, most of us)and humans make mistakes.
