Three wide racing again at tyler. Wilmoth jr,McGill, and Cline put on a good show for second, third and fourth for most of the race. The track was good and some new fans from wetzel county said they would be back for more. They thought the racing was great and so did I.

Glad the track was in good shape this week, was there last week and they had to grade and pack it twice, and about half the field ended up with flats, but still seen some good racing....Since BDS left,They seen to be very inconsistent on track prep IMO.

Last week they did get a lot of water on the track, and the sun didn't come out all day saturday and it was very humid and the track just wouldn't dry. It stayed soft and they did grade it twice. Not to make excuses but the guys do work very hard on trying to prep the track for good racing. The racing was still good but it was hard on tires. The drivers at tyler put on a good show every week and when all things come together you just can't do any better than tyler for good racing. Can't wait for the BLACK DIAMOND weekend. And the HILLBILLY, hopefully.

Don't start complaining about tracks using too much water! There are already too many of them out there that take the easy way out and just let them slick over and become one groove. Tyler has been doing an excellent job of getting water into that track.

I agree 100%. I also like the idea of waiting till the sun dips behind the trees before starting heat races. You can see the moisture come back to the surface of the track after the sun dips.Makes a big difference. Doesn't put the show behind much either.Originally posted by GEAR_HEAD View PostDon't start complaining about tracks using too much water!
