steve lance jr. won followed by brandon sheppard and i think mike provinzano was 3rd.

Yes Steve Lance won. Not sure of the order but Brandon Sheppard, Bobby Pierce, Provenzano, the 2 38 Little cars, Scott Schmidt, Bennett, Mullvain were there and I think I am missing a couple other good ones.

I think Sheppard maybe came close to him once. All the talk was that Brandon Sheppard would end his streak, but Steve is dominant there!

Bennett didn't finish after yet another botched call from the officials.

They have so many issues down there lol, i wouldn't even know where to begin.

Basically by the end of the night, we had been blatently lied to by the head official, he just flat out lied to us to try and make his story sound good. When i caught him in the lie, and i went to curt, we had a good conversation, and as soon as curt realized that i had caught his head official in a blatent lie, he started cussing and went on the defensive. He's going to back them no matter what, no matter how big of mistakes get made.

On the bright side, the racing surface was the best it's been all year and most of the races were a blast to watch! Hats off to the track prep crew.

Tim, everyone has problems from time to time--Not sure I would be so flippant about the demise of the speedway--Every late model has a choice weather to run P-Town or not-- Hopefully cooler heads will prevail---

The speedway will be fine, who owns what is not near as clear and cut as everybody thinks.

By the time he gets figured out that the drivers are more important then his officials it will be too late. Last time I checked nobody in the stands come down to watch the officials do their job.

Who owns what is not my concern or business--A good promoter will not throw his officials under the bus for the moment--That can be handled later in private--I do know he has made some phone calls after the dust has settled on at least one other occasion---

Don't know what fired you up--That is between you and him--- Just be carefull what you wish for---

Yah i mean the call was a mistake, i talked to Bill Sr. about it, we had literally a 2 minute conversation and it was all done and over with.

The part that aggrivated me was the conversation was fine untill i basically put his head official on blast for being caught in an obvious lie, and he didn't want to hear it so he got upset. Starts ripping into me about how we don't respect his officials. I was never disrespectful at all in our conversation, i just didn't appreciate being lied to by his guy, especially since the truth made more sense to me after i got the whole story from curt and Bill Sr.

I never expected him to throw the guy under the bus, but at the same point you can't have your head official lying to your drivers just to make his story sound good, it's just bad business from every aspect.

everybody makes mistakes

every offical makes mistakes at every race track but there have been 3 mistakes at peoria in 3 different class in 3 weeks. All was the same manner somebody else starts it then the guy or Gal behind them gets the blame. If you dont see what happened for sure then dont make a call because u assume that what happened. drive are given no choice but todrive though somebody or they go to back so they do it get the blame anyway with 2 officals in the area somebody was not doing there job just there to watch the races.
