Tazewell, Tennessee – Tazewell Speedway hosts the Buddy Rogers Memorial 44 sanctioned by the NASRA on Sunday, September 4. The $3,000 to win race will see some of Tennessee’s best super late model drivers take on challengers from the Midwest.

The C.J. Rayburn-founded NASRA series has a tight points battle taking place between Arnie Fields and Rohn Moon. They will take on Vic Hill, who won the NASRA race in April, Billy Ogle Jr, Tommy Kerr, Mike Weeks, Chad Ogle, and others.

Also racing on Sunday will be the modified streets, pure streets, four cylinders, and classic cars. The Tazewell Late Models will NOT be racing.

General admission tickets are $15 for adults with kids 9 and under admitted free with a paying adult. Pit passes are $30. Pit gates open at 3:00 and grandstand gates open at 5:00. Racing will start at 7:30.

Tazewell Speedway is located just two miles northwest of Tazewell, Tennessee. Going north on US 25-E, turn right and then left onto Bacchus Rd, and then 1.8 miles north, then .8 miles west and the race track is located on the left.

For more information, visit www.TazewellSpeedway.net or www.nasra.com for racing information. Other questions can be directed to 423-626-2222 on race day.

It's a shame Rick Rogers will not be competing in his fathers memorial race.
