It was a very exciting race. Randy Nichols jumped out to the early lead and looked to be the strongest car there but not too far into the feature he began smoking but still continued to race. Ledford worked his way around Nichols and Nichols went back for the pass and the lead and got into Danny and spun. Randy Nichols retired to the pits and Danny took back over the lead. David then began working on Danny as the went side by side many laps swapping the lead until David went to the high side and took over the lead and the win. They were followed closely by Johnny Chastain and I believe Shawn Chastain as he was able to overtake George Mashburn at the end.
