Wince Mayabb Memorial Set for September 24th @ 191 Speedway

September 24th will be the first annual Wince Mayabb Memorial late model race at 191 Speedway in Campton, KY. Wince would be so proud of what Kevin, Walt, Lola, and the entire 191 Speedway family have done this season. The track has seen record crowds and record car counts and I am sure this coming weekend will be no different. The memorial race will feature a 40 lap “A” main paying $3000 to the winner. An additional $250 will be given to the driver that travels the farthest distance, $100 to the #1 qualifier, $200 to the top 4 dash for cash heat race winner, and $100 for the hard charger award. Modified 4 Cylinder will also pay $500 to win. Stock 4 Cylinder will pay $300 to win. Open wheel modified will pay the normal $700 to win and Bomber will pay the normal $400 to win. Admission prices for this race are the regular $10 spectator side and $25 pit side. For more track information visit www.191speedway.com. Payouts for the “A” main are as follows:

Weather forecast update from the national weather service in Jackson, KY.

Saturday: Areas of fog before 10am. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 73. Calm wind.

Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 48. Calm wind.

The track should be very fast with the rain we have gotten this week. Brandon Fouts is the current track record holder (10.74) but that could be in jeopardy tomorrow night.

In addition to the $3000 to win Late model race there is some additional prize money up for grabs tomorrow. $100 to the #1 qualifier. $100 hard charger award sponsored by Lucky 7 Speedway. $200 to win the dash for cash heat race for the top 4 qualifiers sponsored by Hazard Auto. $250 to the driver that travels the farthest distance. $100 to car that can break the track record of 10.74 held by Brandon Fouts. If no car breaks the track record, the 2nd place finisher in the top 4 dash for cash heat race will receive the $100.

The weather is looking great and the racing action is going to be awesome

As of now 7 Late Models are confirmed: Dustin Linville, Derek Fisher Brandon Fouts, Anthony Adams, Jason Hall, "Hotrod" Slone, and Kelly Cook all in late model. Seems like before the rain out there were about 18 or so Late Models in the pits, I expect alot more than that tonight with nothing else major going on in the area tonight racing wise, and this don't even count the other 4 divisions with special payouts in the both the 4-cylinder divisions as well with the 4-cylinder stock averaging well over 30 on a regular show night. I will guarentee a LARGE show tonight well worth the 10 dollars for the grandstands and 25 for the pits You don't want to miss this one it will be history in the making.
