    David Hare Memorial at Green Valley Speedway - October 15th!

    David Hare Memorial Up-Next for Green Valley Speedway

    The 2011 racing season at Green Valley Speedway, affectionately known as “The Jungle” will wind up with the annual running of the David Hare Memorial honoring long-time race fan and friend David Hare.

    The 2011 installment of the race will take place on October 14th and 15th.

    October 14th will be a Friday Night Open Practice for any driver that would like to get a little on-track time before Saturday’s racing program. Gates open at 5 P.M. on Friday with Practice from 7-10 P.M.

    On Saturday October 15th gates will open at 1 P.M. and Driver’s Meeting is scheduled for 3:30 with action to hit the track at 4.

    In light of the tough economic times facing racers GVS has decided to waive entry fees for the Super Late Models, Sportsman(LLM), Crates, Outlaw Thunder, and Street Stocks. The Kajun Mini Stock Association will be in action with a guaranteed purse of $2,500 to win and the possibility of $5,000 to win based on car count.
    Super Late Models - $2,500 to win ; NO Entry Fee
    Sportsman(LLM) - $1,000 to win; NO Entry Fee
    Crate Late Model - $800 to win; NO Entry Fee
    Outlaw Thunder - $300 to win; NO Entry Fee
    Street Stock - $200 to win; NO Entry Fee
    KMSA - $2,500 to win guaranteed; $60 entry fee
