Atomic to Host Halloween "Trick or Treat" Topless 50
AMRA Modifieds and Hobby Stocks Also on Slate
CHILLICOTHE, OHIO-Back by popular Demand! Yes, this coming Saturday Oct. 29th The Trick or Treat 50 for Topless Late Models comes back to Atomic Speedway, Chillicothe, Ohio for a generous pay-off and a whopping $5000 to win! Last year, the race was a hit for both racers and race fans. The race pays $400 to start and has already drawn interest from several big-name drivers in the region. Also on the agenda are the Advanced Services AMRA Modifieds and the Hobby Stocks.
Racing will start a half and hour earlier this week because of the cool nights and early darkness. Pit gates open at 3 p.m and general admission gates at 3:30. Other details are below.
Late Models and Modifieds will time trial. Late Models will have an open tire rule and body specs under AMRA which are nearly identical to all other sanctions--minus the roof. All Late Model cars must be topless. Modifieds with roofs will race under the AMRA banner although no temporary permits or license fees are necessary because all points have ended for the season. All cars passing inspection at the DTWC will be eligible to run as well as other newcomers.
K-C will also race Modifieds and have an enduro Nov. 5. The swap meet has been cancelled for Nov. 12 in lieu of a go-kart racing special. The Kart race that day Nov. 12th will begin at 12 noon. Gates will open at 9am with racing at 12 noon.
