I read where he is still racing I know he was at the North/South in August I believe @ Florence Speedway ....

Drove for a team out of NC for some races, that's about it. He goes through car owners like a baby goes through diapers.

Randy Weaver

Back at the beginning of the season he posted on his website that he would be cutting back this year, and would not run for any championships. I seem to remember he mentioned work required more time.

There was an article in Late Model Illustrated earlier this year that he was taking time off to spend some time with his wife and kids and get his car lot up and running. Randy is a good driver and a good man cant blame anyone for putting family first.

He still runs a little. Has won a couple this year, think the one owner had eyes bigger than his wallet. One who got him Bloomer cars, they were tough looking, but left quickly. Have always liked the Dream, hopefully he can come back in a couple years stronger than ever. Don't blame him for trying to get something going for his long term future.

That is what Randy told us at Kerry Jones Racing and I respect him for it.I gained a lot respect for Randy and enjoyed working with him.He will race again and win again. Family means more than anything except God,good luck my friend.
