Montana...You should consider finding a publisher for this stuff. The hard copy will do well but just imagine the interest in the paper back edition. .......Nice work!

      THANK YOU all for reading

Yeah, you're right Maestro, maybe I should consider that because I have had an offer in the last month to publish my stats and history to a late model site but I'm mulling it over, who knows, maybe in a few months I'll have some info for you

And yes smith, my head was spinning too putting all this together, but I love doing it. And p-towne, when someone enjoys the sport like I do, it's a pleasure to do all this.

And thanks Eric, I've always liked creating posts people can enjoy reading instead of controversy or innuendos. Information has always been a passion of mine in my work (and) in dirt late model racing.

And thank you too husker, like I said above, fans of dirt late model racing like seeing beyond the actual racing and look at statistical information that creates a buzz and keeps the passion of the sport strong and that is what is important to me when putting all of this together. This sport of DLM racing means too much to me

When years have gone by, its been imperative to me to be able to show fans of future generations perhaps what happened in 2011 to settle bar room arguments or maybe social networking chatter and keep the sport of this type of racing alive and well.

I know that when my dear late friend Leebo was alive, he always enjoyed and looked forward to me sending him this year end information because as he stated " it made him look a hell of a lot smarter when he discussed certain drivers to his friends " which always made me smile ! I really miss my friend as do all of 4m.

And to all of you who read this, THANK YOU, it's always well worth it.....enjoy 2012, I know I will and am looking forward to it !

MM you are doing racing history--Unmatched at this time. Certainly there is a place in the racing annals for a living document such as this. It absolutely should be recorded somehow, not only for reference but for DLM history.

          Montana,

What determines if a race contributes to a driver's total in the top 350 ranking?

Only races that are documented on the major websites that cover dirt late models. I don't do weekly shows because that would be impossible to keep track of. If the particular race is covered by Late Model America, LMR, DOD, 4m, and info that I find from a particular track website that shows an extended winners purse, then I use it

Thanks High man, you have a great holiday as well, as for everyone here on 4m

I use Dropbox as my main back up system HM. I download all my racing stat files and things I deem important to Dropbox which backs up on my desktop at home, my laptop that I had in my previous line of work, and to my I-phone just in case the Chinese continue spying on us like they have been doing in the last couple years off our computers, those crafty little yahoo's

I've had pretty good luck with 'em so far, just go to www.dropbox.com and look it over. See if ya' like it !
